I just wanted to check in with all of you and give you a few quick updates. If your child's IEP is due for an annual update before the start of next school year, I will be in contact with you directly to schedule this meeting.

Per guidance from PWCS Office of Special Education shared on 4/1/2020, IEP services for students (including homebound or home-based instruction) will NOT be provided during extended closure of PWCS. After the extended closure ends, PWCS will be reviewing how the closure impacted the delivery of special education and related services to students eligible for special education services. With regards to Special Education meetings IEP teams are, "working virtually with their teams...on determining such logistics, and then scheduling any such critical meetings. ”

I will be hosting virtual office hours on Mondays and Tuesdays, (beginning 4/20/2020) from 9 to 10 amfor the remainder of the school year. Exact format of virtual office hours will be determined soon. As I have a large number of students to accommodate, please contact me via email if you would like to meet (via video conference) or talk by phone ahead of time. I am best available by email other times during the week.
